General information

In the year 2026 the EuGeN meeting will take place for the first time in Greece.

It will take place from 03.08. – 09.08.2026.

As we are all getting very excited we hope we can provide you with some additional information in the next upcoming weeks.

As a general information please be aware that you need to bring your own camping gear for the duration of the EuGeN meeting. We will not be able to provide a tent or a hut for everybody. So please be aware if you travel via plane that you also need to organise a tent, hammok or anything else you want to sleep in.

We have a WhatsApp group were you can talk with people from your country or nearby and maybe coordinate who will bring what to Greece. We will also try to set up EuGeN Tripster so that you can talk to each other without using WhatsApp.

Campsite

A campsite in Greece needs to be close to the Mediterranean Sea?

If you want to travel to the campsite earlier please let us know. It is easier to organize it for us and the campsite.

For Eugeneers who are not able to bring their own tent we will try to provide some tents but most likely you will have to share a tent with other Eugeneers you do not know right now.

Region/Town

EuGeN 2026 will take place in the region Nestos near Kavala.

Money

You will be able to pay in € (just cash) at the campsite but be aware that you will travel through other countries that do not have the €uro. If you have trouble getting cash surely we will find a solution.
